Tamale Bean Pot
- 1lb ground beef
- 1 clove garlic
- 1½ tsp chili powder
- 1 can garbanzo beans
- 1 can mexicorn, drained (editor's note: this is a blend of corn and bell peppers)
- 2 cans red kidney beans, drained
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 dash tabasco
- 2 cans tamales, papers removed, cut into 1-inch chunks
Preheat oven to 325F.
Brown beef, garlic, and chili powder. Mix with all other ingredients. Bake, covered, for 1 hour.
