Rosemarie's Bread Pudding


  • 4 to 6 eggs
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 6 to 7 slices of white bread
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 to 3 drops of lemon extract
  • 4 cups canned milk
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • pinch of nutmeg


Preheat oven to 350F.

Beat eggs with sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and lemon extract. Add milk and bread, cinnamon, and nutmeg to mixture. Mix well. Place mixture in baking dish. Bake until knife comes out clean.
