Mock Sukiyaki


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb round steak
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1½ cup celery, sliced
  • 1½ cup mushrooms, sliced
  • ½ cup green onion, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp corn starch

Instructions:

Thinly slice meat and brown in oil. Stir in veggies, beef broth, and soy sauce. Cover and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring often. Mix cornstarch and ¼ cup warm water, and add to mixture pan. Stir until thick.

Serve over rice.
